PICTURES: Almost 100 volunteers clean up the streets of Carlow as part of Tidy Towns

98 volunteers from Unum's Carlow branch underwent the major clean up operation in the centre of Carlow Town

A great effort was made recently by volunteers from Unum to help clean up the streets of Carlow Town. Eight areas of the town were targeted in the operation, including St Mary's Cemetery, Askea Church, Carpenters Way, Hanover Park, the Town Hall, Carlow Train Station and Carlow Town Centre. Over 30 full black bags of rubbish were collected by the volunteers.
