WATCH: Montessori school in Tinryland get involved in the World Cup by performing the Haka

A Montessori school in Tinryland, Carlow celebrated the Rugby World Cup by performing the Haka ahead of the game between Ireland and New Zealand.

The school has an age range of two and eight months to four years old.

Montessori school owner Frances Byrne commented, "Most of the matches are past their bedtime, the children haven't really got into the excitement of the World Cup, so we wanted to find a way of getting them involved. We decided to teach them a cute version of the Haka."

While it was an unfortunate day for Ireland, Frances has said "the response to our video has been joyful, with all the war going on in the world, people are saying it has lifted their spirits."
