A shop owner says he is "on top of the world" after selling a second multi-million euro winning Lotto ticket.
It has been revealed that Garryowen Stores in Limerick city sold the winning ticket for Saturday's draw - worth €8,970,934.
It is the same store that sold Dolores McNamara's winning EuroMillions ticket worth €115 million in 2005.
Ms McNamara famously became the first EuroMillions jackpot winner in Ireland after purchasing her winning €115 million ticket in July 2005 - the biggest lottery win in Europe at the time.
Speaking this Tuesday, store owner Tom Brosnahan said it was a "great feeling" to sell not one but two, Lotto jackpot winning tickets.
"We are fierce lucky. It is like a dream come true. The sun is shining and we have a Lotto winner, what more could you want!"
"The fact that it is the second time around makes it even better. We just hope that Limerick are as lucky this season and make it five-in-a-row!"
Sarah Orr from the National Lottery encouraged the winning ticket holder to come forward.
"This really is a case of lightning striking twice! In 2005 this was the most famous shop in Ireland so it is definitely a well-renowned store!
"We have had no contact from the winner yet, so make sure to check your tickets from Saturday night. Someone has nearly nine million euro waiting for them and they don't even know."
The National Lottery are appealing to players to check their tickets from Saturday's draw.
