Fifth anniversary of the Charlie Curran Memorial Run will take place on January 27

The 5th anniversary of the Charlie Curran Memorial Run will take place on January 27 at Carlow Town Hurling Club.

After sell out events in 2017 and 2018 organisers are excited to host a 5 mile event to honour this milestone.

They said: "You will run in the beautiful area of Oak Park Carlow with the finish line under the Oak Park Arch.

"Our charity partners for 2019 are Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care Team & Billy's World Ireland."

The event will cost €15 for adults and €7 for under 16s and the run is chip timed.
