WATCH: Relay for Life in Carlow on September 22

The ninth annual Relay For Life Carlow will take place on September 22 and 23 of this year in Duckett's Grove starting at 5pm on the Saturday.
The events raise vital funds to support the work of the Irish Cancer Society.
At the heart of each Relay For Life event, teams of friends, neighbours, families and colleagues come together in groups and commit to keeping participants walking around a track or path for 24 hours.
Fun and exciting activities take place throughout the 24 hours to create a wonderfully festive atmosphere.
The event starts with a cancer survivors’ lap of honour and is followed at sunset by the very moving Candle of Hope ceremony where luminaries are lit around the track in honour of, and in memory of, loved ones who have fought cancer.
These candles light the way to guide our participants all night as they walk around the track.
