WHAT'S ON: Launch of Remembrance Tree in Carlow Town to raise funds for local charities
The official opening ceremony will be on Friday the 13th 2024
The launch of the Remembrance Tree in Carlow is set to take place on Friday the 13th of December 2024.
Every year Rotary Carlow put the Remembrance Tree up in Carlow Town and it raises vital funds for local charities.
From Rotary Carlow:
"We're raising funds again for local charities with the Remembrance Tree. The tree will be open from the 11th of December so come around, say hello and remember a loved one.
Our official opening ceremony will be on Friday, 13th of December at 6pm with some talented young performers belting out a few songs!
None of this would be possible without our sponsors and in particular Unum, Platinum sponsor, who have been with us for several years. We're also pleased to have two Carlow businesses TouchPointMedia and the Seven Oaks Hotel, coming in as Gold and Silver sponsors.
We also want to thank the following businesses for the support as well: Thomas Byrne, Carlow Credit Union, Jones Business Systems, Lucidity Factory, SRL Talent Agency, Curry Garden, Slimming World and Bank of Ireland."
