Tributes paid to Graiguecullen native who will be remembered for his 'kind nature'

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Gerard Mahony of 10 Barrowvale, Graiguecullen, Carlow and formerly of Jamestown Rd, Inchicore and Huband Road, Bluebell, Dublin.
Gerrard passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on November 30th 2024.
Beloved husband of Jacqui, much loved father of Danielle, Jaclyn, Gerard, Mark and Alex and adored grandfather of Abby, Mia, Kiyah, Max, Kadi-Leigh, Alfie and Priya.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Katie, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Jacqui, jaclyn and family we are so sad to hear the news. Ger will forever be remembered for his kind nature and his love for going to watch the football, he will be missed dearly. Ye are in our thoughts and prayers at this really difficult time, may Ger now rest in peace "

Funeral arrangements
Reposing at his home, 10 Barrowvale, Graiguecullen, Carlow (Eircode R93 N2K7) on Wednesday, December 4th, from 2pm concluding with prayers at 5pm that evening.
Funeral Mass on Thursday, at 10am in Church of Mary Immaculate (Oblates) Inchicore, Dublin, followed by funeral to Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin, arriving for Cremation Service at 12 Noon.
