A great welcome for the 24-year-old

Carlow Rose Shauna Ray Lacey returned to huge crowds gathered on Tullow Street in Carlow Town on Thursday night for her homecoming.

There was also live music from Brendan Jameson, David O'Neill and local band FOR ADIO.

Shauna sang Aslan's "Crazy World" to the congregation as well alongside her three-year-old daughter, Emmy.

She performed the song at the Rose of Tralee Festival on RTÉ on Monday night too and dedicated to her late father, Francis Lacey who passed away five years ago and used to sing the song to her when she was younger.

Carlow man and musical director of the Rose of Tralee, Ollie Hennessy, accompanied her on the piano on Thursday night.
