Carlow Gardaí are investigating a spate of car crimes across Carlow Town believed to be a lone male
Gardaí in Bagenalstown, Carlow are investigating a spate of car crimes that occurred during the early hours of Sunday morning the 14th of April.
Two cars were damaged in Bachelors Walk and The Parade in Bagenaalstown at approximately 4.30am on Sunday morning 14.4.2024. A rock was used to damage one of the cars, smashing the windows and body panels. The car was entered but nothing taken
short time later, three (3) cars were interfered with in Church Street, Leighlinbridge between 6.30am and 6.45am. All three cars were entered with property taken from two of the cars, including a set of house keys and a laptop bag.
Gardai in Bagenalstown believe that all the incidents in Bagenalstown and Leighlinbridge are connected. It is believed that a lone male wearing a long
Black Parka jacket with a fur-lined hood and a grey blood stained tracksuit bottoms is connected to all incidents. He may have sustained an injury whilst damaging one of the cars.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses in the Bagenalstown and Leighlinbridge areas in the early hours of Sunday morning 14th April who may have seen anything of a suspicious nature or who may have encountered the male suspect, to contact them on 9774120. They are also seeking any CCTV or dashcam footage.
