WATCH: Another set of fires rage on the Blackstairs Mountains in Carlow

Following a string of of fires on mountains in County Carlow over the last few days, yet another one has been reported on Tuesday the 23rd of April.

This time it was 3 separate fires that occurred across the Blackstairs Mountains, all started within one hour of each other.

The three fires were spotted at the sites of Seskinnamadra, Rathgeran and Nine Stones.

Once again the Fire and Rescue services in Carlow were on the scene in quick time to attend to the fires.

There is suspicion on social media about the origins of these fires, but there has been no confirmation by local Gardaí if this is an active investigation at the time of writing.
