Carlow Gardaí are investigating an incident where an attempt to steal a vehicle and criminal damages sustained at Johns Mill, Johns Street, Carlow.
The incident took place on Sunday the 2nd of June.
The owner of the vehicle, a white Toyota Aqua, parked the vehicle at the location mentioned at 19.00 pm.
When the owner returned to the vehicle the following morning he discovered damage to the cowling of the vehicle, the driver side door and the driver side window.
After inspected the interior of the car, it indicated that an effort to start or hotwire the car had been made.
It is possible that the suspects in the case were disturbed and that is maybe why the attempt was unsuccessful.
Anyone with any information or who may have been a witness to the incident is urged to contact Carlow Gardaí by either going to Carlow Garda Station or by calling Carlow Gardaí at 059 9136620.
