Chairman of County Carlow Tidy Towns steps has resigned from their position

Wayne Fennel announced his resignation this morning

It has been announced today that Chairmen of the Carlow Tidy Towns committee, Wayne Fennel has resigned from his position from the organisation.

The news came this morning and was posted about on social media by County Carlow TD Jennifer Murnane O'Connor, who wrote:

"This morning, I received the sad news that The Chairman of Carlow Tidy Towns Wayne Fennel, has resigned from his position and his involvement with the group.
Wayne has done great work with the Tidy Towns in Carlow and has helped with many other issues through the years during his time as a Councillor, and also as Chairman of Carlow Tidy Towns.
Carlow Tidy Towns has always had full commitment from Wayne and it is a sad day for Carlow that he has chosen to part from the group. I wish Wayne well, and thank him for all he has done to enhance Carlow town and streetscapes. He will be missed. "
