TD Jennifer Murnane O'Connor with Mrs Glynn
This past week, a Carlow woman has celebrated a huge milestone. Mrs Glynn of New Oak Estate, County Carlow had her 105th birthday!
Carlow TD Jennifer Murnane O'Connor visited Mrs Glynn on her birthday and shared an image on her social media page.
Writing in the caption of the photo:
"It was an absolute joy to call to New Oak Estate to wish Happy Birthday to a very special lady - Mrs. Glynn - who is celebrating 105 years of life! What a fantastic milestone to reach!
One of only a handful of people in Ireland who have reached this age, Mrs. Glynn has experienced and lived through many years of history, life and experiences - and really enjoyed her Birthday Celebrations!
Please join me in wishing her a Happy Birthday and continued health."
Social media comments were flooded with happy birthdays for the Carlow woman on this impressive milestone and deservedly so!
