The Green Party have announced their list of candidates to contest the general election, for the Carlow/Kilkenny Constituency, Minister Malcom Noonan has been selected.

The Green Party has begun the selection process for general election candidates. Eleven candidates were selected in the first round of the process with their names being approved by the party today (July 15). More candidates will be announced in the weeks ahead. The following 11 people will contest the next general election on behalf of the Greens:

Cllr Hazel Chu (Constituency: Dublin Bay South)

Deputy Brian Leddin (Constituency: Limerick City)

Senator Pauline O’Reilly (Constituency: Galway West)Deputy Marc Ó Cathasaigh (Constituency: Waterford)

Deputy Patrick Costello (Constituency: Dublin South Central)

Minister Catherine Martin (Constituency: Dublin Rathdown)

Minister Malcolm Noonan (Constituency: Carlow-Kilkenny)

Minister Joe O’Brien (Constituency: Dublin Fingal West)

Senator Vincent P Martin (Constituency: Kildare North)

Deputy Francis Noel Duffy (Constituency: Dublin South West)

Deputy Steven Matthews (Constituency: Wicklow)
