Carlow County Council have received a planning application for 4 new homes to be built in Carlow Town. The location for the new build homes is proposed to take place in Borlum via College Gardens in Carlow.

The planning permission was applied for by Cormac and Fiach O'Toole and the application was submitted on the 27th of August 2024.

The details of the planning permission are as follows:

The construction of number 4 dwelling houses.

The 4 homes are comprising of 2 semi-detached 3 bedroom units and 2 detached 4 bedroom units with entrance via college gardens.

The development includes all associated landscaping works , boundary treatments, connection to public sewer networks, and all ancillary services and associated site works above and below ground at Borlum.

A decision is due to be made on the 21st of October 2024.

Updates of the decision made by the Carlow County Council will be posted on Carlow Live when they are made.
