Carlow Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred Palatine GAA Clubhouse. The incident took place on Tuesday morning the 17th of September 2024.

From the Carlow Gardaí:
"At 4.20am on Tuesday morning, 17th Sept, Carlow Gardai responded to a verified intruder alarm at Palatine GAA Clubhouse in Bennekerry.
The front door of the clubhouse had been forced open, as a result of being rammed by a car.
The cash register, which didn’t contain any money, and a small quantity of alcohol was stolen from the premises.
This incident is connected to the burglaries in Rathvilly and Grange. The same three male suspects in the grey coloured Mazda Demio, partial reg 10D, were also involved in this crime
The cash register was subsequently recovered by a member of the public later that morning in Linkardstown.
Carlow Detective Unit are investigating all of these incidents and are appealing for any information to contact them on 059 9136620."
