The Council has secured additional funding of €772,042
Carlow County Council has secured additional funding for Housing Adaptation Grants. The additional funding that has been secured is €772,042.
The additional funding is set to be used to cover existing commitments and priority cases only.

Councillor Will Paton has announced the extra funding on his Facebook page writing:
"This additional funding will be used to cover existing commitments and priority cases only. Priority 1 (Medical) needs or urgent cases under Housing Aid for Elderly e.g. loss of heating, dangerous issues or leaking roofs only will be considered at the moment."
