Carlow will welcome a minor injury unit in 2025 says Carlow TD Jennifer Murnane O'Connor.
The news comes after a meeting the TD had with Minister Stephen Donnelly and the location of the clinic will be at St Dympna's Hospital in Carlow.

The TD posted about the news on her Facebook page saying:
"Back in September 2023, following several representations made by me in the Dáil for the people of Carlow, as reported at the time, I openly called on the Government to provide funding for a much needed Minor Injuries Unit in Carlow.
Last week, during Budget announcements, I was happy to share the great news that funding has been allocated for this much needed facility.
The Minister has since confirmed that the intended location for the Carlow Minor Injuries Clinic will be St. Dympna's Hospital in Carlow and that the service will be available in 2025. This is fantastic news for Carlow and will, like the Domestic Violence Refuge, be welcomed by many and recognised as two very important services for the County of Carlow!
Thank You to all who collaborated and supported efforts to get this approval across the line."
