Bridget Delaney from Carlow Town has reached a very special milestone recently, her 100th birthday, and this past week she received a visit from the Tánaiste Micheál Martin at her home in Carlow.
She also received a centenarian medal for her huge milestone on the day as well.

She was met by a number of Fianna Fáil representatives at her home following her birthday, the aforementioned, Tánaiste, along with TD Jennifer Murnane O'Connor.
The Táinaiste shared a video of the interaction with Ms Delaney on his social media channels, where Ms Delaney can be seen very happy to receive the medal.
