Carlow County Council have announced that due to emergency watermain repair works the water serving a number of Carlow areas in Hecketstown will be affected until 5pm today.

From the Carlow County Council Community Information on Facebook:
"Due to emergency watermain repair works, the water serving Moffett Street, Slate Row & Clonmore Road, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow will be affected with immediate effect until 5pm today, 4th December 2024.
Uisce Eireann apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
For all mains water and sewage enquiries, please contact the Uisce Eireann customer care phone line on 1800 278 278 (open 24 hours 7 days a week)."
