Carlow County Council has announced details of two separate funding opportunities to support the development and presentation of creative and artistic projects in the county in 2025. Applications will be accepted from individual artists, musicians and creatives, arts collectives, community groups, youth groups and arts organisations.
Speaking about the funding opportunities, Acting Arts Officer Aileen Nolan said, “Carlow County Council is pleased to announce our funding opportunities for 2025. These opportunities reinforce the value and the importance of supporting the arts across our communities. Access and inclusion are of great importance to us and we look forward to supporting artists and community groups who reflect the broad ranges of representation and creative expression across County Carlow. All funding applications have been simplified following feedback from our artists and communities and online submissions are now open and welcome”.
Carlow County Council Arts Service supports creative and artistic practices and processes, and artists in a variety of ways annually. Artists, Musicians, Community / Voluntary groups, Arts Organisations and Children and Young Persons groups may consider applying for the following grants and award opportunities to support their artistic projects in 2025:
-Arts Act Grant Scheme – Individual Artists – Closing Date 6th February 2025
-Arts Act Grant Scheme – Community Groups/Arts Organisations – Closing Date 6th February 2025
