County Carlow received funding of €3 million from the National Travel Authority.
The national grant allocation aims to improve active travel across County Carlow.

Active Travel Pathfinder - Carlow to SETU Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme (Phase 1) - €690,000
Dublin Road Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme, Carlow - €740,000
SRTS - Queen of the Universe, Muinebheagh (Round 1) - €300,000
Church Street Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme, Graiguecullen - €40,000
Active Travel Staff Costs - €320,000
Ballyellen Footpath Scheme - €40,000
Active Travel Pathfinder - Carlow to SETU Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme (Phase 2) - €760,000
Hillbrook Estate Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme, Tullow (Tullow Orbital Project) - €70,000
SRTS - Pedestrian De La Salle College, Bagenalstown (R3) - €20,000
SRTS - St Brigid's National School, Grange, Tullow (R3) - €20,000
