Noel Alcock from Graiguecullen has reached a very special milestone recently, his 100th birthday, and this past week he received a visit from Cathaoirleach Cllr. Fergal Browne in Carlow.
He received a centenarian medal for his huge milestone last Friday.

The Carlow Library's Facebook page wrote about the event saying:
On Friday last Noel Alcock, Graiguecullen, became the latest recipient of Carlow Co. Co.'s Centenarian's Medal, presented by Cathaoirleach Cllr. Fergal Browne.
