Local Carlow/Kilkenny TD has provided updates on the minor injury unit set to be put in place in County Carlow.
With works beginning on the injury clinic set to begin "very soon" according to Jennifer Murnane O'Connor TD.

Speaking in a video on her social media account TD Jennifer Murnane O'Connor says:
"I'm here outside St. Dympna's Hospital on the Athy road, an absolutely beautiful building. I have been talking to the HSE and of course, our minister, so the new injury clinic will be here as part of this hospital. The refurbished works will start very soon, and it is important that we get this up and running.
This injury clinic is really urgently needed in Carlow, and I will keep you updated."
