Carlow County Council have received a planning application for new retail premises unit in vacant sports retail unit to be used as a deli and a grocery retail premises on Tullow Street in Carlow Town.
The proposed development is hoping to take place at number 146 of Tullow Street.
The planning permission was received by the Carlow County Council on the 15th of April 2025, with no current date set for the Council to make a decision on the proposal.

The details of the new planning application read as follows:
The change of use of an existing building last used as a Sports Retail unit to use as a Deli and a Grocery/Retail premises to ground floor.
Alterations to existing first floor living accommodation, and alterations to front elevation to include new entrance door to access upper floors, new signage, and all associated site works
Updates as the planning application moves towards the decision date can be found when they are made on Carlow Live.
