Our Roads Policing Unit were patrolling the roads of the county over the weekend trying to prevent fatal or serious injury collisions. They carried out dozens of patrols and checkpoints and dealt with any breaches of the Road Traffic laws that were encountered by way of penalty notices, arrests or car seizures. To the thousands of motorists that were obeying the rules, thank you, and for who were not, please see it as a learning experience.
