Eurovision Song Contest 2024: Late Late Show Eurosong entries revealed ahead of Ireland's selection

Sweden host Eurovision 2024 after Loreen won last year's song contest in Liverpool

Eurovision Song Contest 2024: Late Late Show Eurosong entries revealed ahead of Ireland's selection

Late Late Show presenter Patrick Kielty will host Eurosong at the end of January.

The six Eurosong entries have now been revealed as Ireland prepares to pick their act to represent the country at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden this May.

This year's national selection will take place on a special 'Eurosong' edition of the Late Late Show on Friday, January 26 and will be broadcast live on RTÉ One.

Sweden are now level with Ireland for the most Eurovision victories (7) in the history of the competition after Loreen triumphed with her song 'Tattoo' in Liverpool last year.

Wild Youth, who represented Ireland in 2023, failed to qualify for the grand final - making it five years since the country last qualified for the final. Ryan O'Shaughnessy was the last to do so with the song 'Together' in 2018.

The sixth and final Eurosong contender was revealed on the Ray D'Arcy Show on Friday.

Boyband 'Next In Line' (SongLove Like Us), founded by Louis Walsh, join Erica Cody (SongLove Me Like I Do), Ailsha (SongGo Tobann), Isabella Kearney (SongLet Me Be The Fire), JyellowL (SongJudas) and Bambie Thug (SongDoomsday Blues) in the Eurosong 2024 line-up.

Eurovision 2024 takes place in Malmö between May 7 and May 11.
