Nestlé have said they have more exciting products coming in 2024
Nestlé has announced it will be discontinuing two of its long standing chocolate bars following a decline in sales.
The Yorkie biscuit and Breakway bars will soon disappear from selves to make way for new products, the global food company has said.
Breakaway bars will no longer be made from March this year but can be found on shelves until stock lasts.
Yorkie biscuit bars are also on the way out, but good news for chocolate lovers, the big Yorkie biscuit bars are here to stay.
A spokesperson for Nestlé has said:
"We know fans will be disappointed to see it go, but it's time for us to say goodbye to Breakaway.
"We have seen a decline in the sales of Breakaway over the past few years and, unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue it.
"By saying goodbye to Breakaway, we can focus on our best performing brands, as well as develop exciting new innovations to delight consumers' tastebuds.
"While we know it's sad to see Yorkie biscuit go, we want to assure shoppers that we have plenty of exciting new products lines up for 2024. Watch this space."
One of those exciting products coming this year includes a hazelnut Blue Riband bar that is set to hit supermarket shelves this month.
