'So hyped' - Reality TV lovers react as Louis Walsh tipped for Celebrity Big Brother line-up

X Factor judge and music mogul Louis Walsh is tipped to star in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother (CBB), with fans of the show expressing their excitement online.

The beloved reality show features a colourful cast of celebrities and pseudo-celebs and returns to screens this March after a six year break.

Walsh has managed world-renowned bands including Westlife and Girls Aloud and has reportedly landed a six-figure deal to enter the famous CBB house.

According to The Sun, he was described as "one of the most intriguing signings" due to his extensive experience in show business.

CBB fans posted their reactions to the speculation online, with one X (formerly Twitter) user stating, "Louis Walsh is going on Celebrity Big Brother and I am SO hyped, he’s the only one that’s got me excited so far. PUT SHAZZA IN TOO."

Another user commented, "Apparently Louis Walsh has signed up for celebrity big brother? Kinda here for it! Fuel that man with alcohol and it will be a shit show."

"Louis Walsh is going to scrap the whole house," wrote another user.

A further commenter wrote: "He’s literally the only name I’m excited for but he’ll be great!" while another commented: "Louis Walsh and Ekin-Su rivalry incoming."

Although no names have been confirmed by ITV as of yet, some rumoured housemates include Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Kate Middleton's uncle, and Strictly Come Dancing judge, Shirley Ballas.

The show returns to screens for a live launch on Monday March 4 at 9pm on ITV1.
