A Cork musician is celebrating after hitting the number one spot in the Irish albums chart.
According to the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA), singer Lyra's debut album of the same name has reached the top of the chart for the first time, surpassing Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter (which has charted for three weeks).
Marking the accomplishment, Lyra posted a video on her Instagram page doing chores like mowing the lawn and taking the bins out while dressed in an elaborate stage outfit and tiara.
She commented, "LYRA is [an] Irish album number 1 so I suppose this is my life now. So many people to thank… thank you all for making this dream come true, we did this together.
"I think I’m still in shock. I love you all so much. PS no children where harmed in the making [of] this."
The musician has a number of gigs lined up for the summer, including a concert at the Marquee in her native Cork on June 16, and a slot at Kaleidoscope festival on June 28.

Lyra has been vying for the top spot since the release of her album, and has urged fans to buy physical or digital copies.
In a video posted on April 19, Lyra can be seen interrupting Beyonce's track Texas Hold 'Em to say, "No no, no no, there's only one queen here."
Her popular song Queen can then be heard playing in the background while Lyra dances to it.
Her accompanying caption reads, "There’s only one Queen here. LAST ROUND of the fight to get LYRA to #1 Irish album. All physicals count until 7pm all downloads until midnight.
"Regardless of the outcome tomorrow in the charts your support has blown my mind and I will forever be grateful. I already feel like a #1 so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Love you all so much, Lyra."
