U2 singer Bono and his wife Ali Hewson paid a special visit to a popular pub in Durgarvan, Co Waterford on Monday.
The couple paid a surprise visit to Downey's as they made their way home from a party in Lismore Castle over the weekend.
The Edge's wife Morleigh had hosted her 60th Birthday Party in the west Waterford Castle.
U2 have paid multiple visits to the bar, which has previously defined itself as a 'U2 fan club bar'. Multiple photos and souvenirs from the band are on displays throughout the Dungarvan bar, and the fan club regularly hosts meet-ups at the popular boozer.
Dungarvan was the home of the late Dennis Sheehan, the long time tour manager of U2 who tragically died in 2015.
The Irish Independent reported that the entourage were interested in paying a visit to Sheehan's grave at St Mary’s Church nearby in Dungarvan.
