Bank account set up to raise funds for women's refuge due to 'large number of enquiries'

A bank account has been set up for a Carlow women's refuge and all donations are welcome.

Carlow Older Persons' Forum said following a large number of enquiries from members of the public, Carlow County Development Partnership CLG has set up a bank account in Bank of Ireland Bagenalstown to raise money for a women's refuge in Carlow.

The refuge was one of a number of recommendations made in a special report on homelessness in Carlow which was launched last week.

The account's IBAN is: IE21 BOFI 9064 9415 9281 27 and the BIC is BOFIIE2D.
