New Holland has announced an expansion of coverage in Carlow and Kilkenny though dealers Lyons and Burtons and Murphy Motors, who are both opening new sales outlets.

Lyons and Burton, with offices in Kilcock, will open a new outlet in Carlow in March for sales, service and parts for New Holland Agriculture.

The outlet will cover the dealership's newly expanded territory, including the whole of Kildare, Carlow and North West Wexford, in addition to their existing territory based in Kilcock.

Lyons and Burton have been a New Holland dealer since 2013, having previously worked with Ford New Holland and at Fiat Agri amongst others during their time in the industry.

The outlet will open with newly-recruited staff that are already familiar with much of the customer base in North West Wexford and Carlow.

Lyons and Burtons’ owner Trevor Lyons said: "All of us at Lyons and Burton are excited by this new challenge in Kildare, Carlow and North West Wexford.

"2018 was our best year yet in terms of sales and we are confident that by continuing to provide the right level of service and back up we will be equally as successful in the new area.

"We are working hard in preparing the new depot in Carlow and look forward to welcoming our new customers there in the near future."

New Holland Business Director for the UK & Ireland, Pat Smith, said: "I'm very pleased to announce the opening of new outlets for Lyons and Burton’s and Murphy Motors.

"New Holland’s expansion efforts in Ireland aims to make sure we cover the territory and our large and loyal customer base in the most efficient possible way.

"We look forward to this exciting new chapter and are sure both dealers will continue to provide outstanding service to both their existing and new customer base."
