Carlow County Council and Gardaí to hold 'at least six waste checkpoints' this year

First of these checkpoints took place on the N80
Carlow County Council and the Gardaí plan to hold "at least six waste checkpoints" across the county this year.
The first of these inspections was carried out on the N80 in February and a number of non-compliances were detected which will be followed up with a fixed penalty notice.
