The Train Like A Legend, Support Your Club competition has been launched nationwide.

GAA clubs across Carlow are being encouraged to apply for a club makeover that’s worth €5,000.

Clubs can also win a training session with the former Kerry legend, Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper as part of the competition.

Run by Solgar, the Train Like A Legend, Support Your Club competition has been launched nationwide.

The winning club will receive both the training session and the €5,000 makeover, while second and third place runners-up will each receive a makeover fund valued at €5,000.

The prize fund can be used for club equipment, kit or other improvements.

Solgar, the official vitamin partner of the GAA/GPA and a leading provider of nutritional supplements, is celebrating 40 years of business in Ireland this year.

It’s calling on clubs across Carlow to enter and be in with a chance to win.

The competition is focused on helping players, coaches, and volunteers across the country to attain the highest standards and find their gold, the Solgar way.

“It’s an honour to team up with Solgar as part of its 40th celebrations. I am encouraging clubs across the country to take the opportunity to enter and to avail of a brilliant makeover prize, which will benefit clubs and make a big difference. I am also honoured to have the opportunity to provide a training session to the winning club, and I look forward immensely to togging out, sharing some of my own insights as well as learning from the players, coaches and volunteers that I will have the chance to engage with as part of the coaching session,” Colm Cooper said.
