Gardaí in Rathvilly are investigating the incident
Rathvilly Gardaí are investigating an incident where an ignited firework was thrown through a letter box in De Lacey Abbey.
The incident happened on November 11 at 8.30pm when the occupants of the house heard a loud bang and on checking discovered an ignited firework in their hall.
The firework caused scorch marks to the inside of the door.
Gardaí in Rathvilly are investigating the incident and are appealing for information and can be contacted 059 916 1122.
