Carlow Gardaí investigating sudden death of a woman in her 40s on Montgomery Street

Gardaí are investigating the sudden death of a woman in her 40s on Thursday afternoon on Montgomery Street, Carlow at approximately 1.50pm.

The body of the woman was removed to Waterford University Hospital where a post-mortem will be conducted.

Gardaí have said the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
