Carlow silver medallist Molly Scott mistaken on Twitter for X Factor contestant

Molly Scott - who won a silver medal for her country in the 4x100m relay at the World U20 Championships in Finland earlier this year - has been mistaken for a contestant on this year's X Factor.

The Hacketstown native has been getting a lot of extra followers on Twitter after another Molly Scott survived the X Factor's Six Chair Challenge over the weekend and is now through to Judges' Houses.

Carlow's Molly had to take to Twitter to clear up the confusion.
