The field is heading to the third mark when race control flies the blue and white checkered flag.
The race has been abandoned and will be resailed.
We have an update from the course – the resailing has been delayed due to weather."
Australia's Matt Wearn took the back to back gold followed by Cyprus' Pavlos Kontides with the silver and Stefano Peschiera of Peru taking the bronze.
A very impressive result for Finn and doing Carlow and Ireland proud on the biggest stage of sport!
