EA Sports is set to release their annual installment for football gaming fanatics, and Irish players have been left surprised at the ratings for Irish players.
FC 25, EA Sports' successor to the ever-popular FIFA video games, provides updated annual rankings for every player featured in the game.

Players are given a number rating out of 100 based on an average of their rankings of pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physicality.
The top ranked players internationally included Mbappé, Rodri and Haaland, all scoring a 91 overall.
Carlow Striker Pádraig Amond, playing his football now with Waterford FC in the Airtricity League is ranked as a 61 rated striker.
Pádraig has scored 12 goals in 31 outings for the League of Ireland outfit.
