The late Brendan May

The death has occurred of Brendan May of Gardenfield, Tuam, Galway and late of Burrin Street, Carlow Town.

Predeceased by his father John, mother Kathleen, and brother John. Deeply mourned and loved by his devoted wife Beatrice and by his much-loved children, Justin and Adrienne, daughter-in-law Sinead, son-in-law John, and his grand-children Fergal, Kate, Lauren, and Tom. Very sadly missed by his sisters Rita and Stella, and brother Oliver, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Brendan Rest In Peace 

Brendan will be reposing at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Thursday evening from 6pm.

Removal at 8pm to the Cathedral of the Assumption.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30am.

Funeral afterwards to Kilbannon Cemetery.

The late Paddy Byrne

The death has occurred of Paddy Byrne of Leeds, England and formerly Kilcarrig St, Bagenalstown, Carlow.

Paddy passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness, bravely borne, on September 17th, 2023, at his home.

Beloved husband of Rosalind, much loved father of James and Michelle, adored grandfather of Lauren and William and cherished brother of Peggy (Carlow), Betty (Leeds), Breda (Huddersfield), John (Leeds), Thomas (Leeds) Jim (Leeds) and the late Anne (Enniskillen).

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Liz, son-in-law Andrew, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Paddy Rest In Peace 

Pat will be received into the care of St Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 23 New Road, Leeds LS19 7Hw, at 5pm on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023.

Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at 11am and his burial Service will then take place at Guiseley Cemetery, Netherfield Road, Guiseley LS2 09PD at 1pm the same day.

Family flowers only but if you would like to make a donation, these are gratefully received for Sue Ryder.
