The late Mary Gallagher (née Keating)
The death has occurred of Mary Gallagher (née Keating) of Rathfarnham, Dublin / Carlow
Mary passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family while in the tender care of the doctors and nurses at Tallaght University Hospital.
She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Laura and always remembered by her loving and much-loved husband Seamus and their children Pauline, Gerry and Marguerite, son-in-law Ciaran, daughter-in-law Hilary, her treasured grandchildren Adam, Ross, Alex, Grace and Emma, sisters Ann, Sadie, Stasia, (Peg predeceased) Chrissie, Loretto, Esther and Ber, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, her Goddaughters Mairead and Irene and her dear friend Jo.
May Mary Rest In Peace
Mary will repose at home on Sunday 21st January from 4pm to 7pm.
The funeral Mass will take place on Monday, January 22nd at 10am in the church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery.
The late Claire Byrne
The death has occurred of Claire Byrne of Virginia, U.S.A. and formerly of Ballybromhill, Fenagh, Co. Carlow.
Claire passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2024.
Predeceased by both her parents, sister Peggy and her brother Martin.
Deeply regretted by her sisters Mary, Sadie and Bernie, brothers Charlie and Gerry, nephews, nieces, relatives and her many friends.

The late Joe Geoghegan
The death has occurred of Joe Geoghegan of 115 St Clare’s Road, Governey Park, Graiguecullen and The Hillview Nursing Home, Tullow Rd., Carlow and formerly of Staplestown Rd., Carlow.
Joe passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on January 18th, 2024, at Hillview Nursing Home, Carlow
Beloved husband of the late Betty and much loved father of Valerie.
Pre-deceased by his parents Joe Snr and Rose, his brothers baby William, Sean and Eamon and sister Áine
He will be sadly missed by his loving daughter, grand-daughter Amber, son-in-law Neil, sister Rose, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, (Eircode R93 C863) from 4pm on Friday, January 19th, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening.
Removal on Saturday at 11.30am to St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 Noon, followed by funeral to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow for burial.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Alzheimer’s Association of Ireland.
The late James (Jim) Lyons
The death has occurred of James (Jim) Lyons of Stoke-on-Trent, England formerly Ballybar, Tinryland, Carlow
Jim passed away peacefully at The Royal Stoke University Hospital, England. Aged 90 years.
Predeceased by his loving wife Betty, siblings Ned, John, Tom, Paddy, Biddy, Mary and Sr. Monica.
Much loved Dad of John, Eric and Paul, dear father-in-law of Alison, Heather and Michelle, also a dearly treasured granddad and great-granddad. Deeply regretted by his brother-in-law Tommy, sister-in-law Sophia, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral will take place on Thursday 25th January 2024 at 11am in The Carmountside Chapel, England followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Mass on Sunday 28th January 2024 in St. Joseph's Church, Tinryland at 10am.
The late Eithne Murphy (née Hennigan)
The death has occurred of Eithne Murphy (née Hennigan) of Hillview Nursing Home, Carlow and formerly of “Roslee”, Westwood, Summerhill, Athlone.
Eithne passed away peacefully January 18th 2024 in the gentle care of Hillview Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Con and much loved mother of Annria, Ciara and Tara. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons-in-law Paul, TJ and Mark, grandchildren Rachael, Eva, Aaron, Thomas, Daniel, Kirsten, Ben, Jenna and Ewan, extended family, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her siblings, originally of Bornacurra, Athleague, Michael, Frank, Mary, Paddy, Billie, Joe, Jimmy, Paul, Matt and Colm.

Reposing at her daughter Tara’s home 14 Pollerton Manor, Carlow (R93 P9P3) on Friday, January 19th from 5pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Bennekerry, Carlow (R93 RD36).
Burial on Sunday at 2pm in Athleague Cemetery, Co. Roscommon.
