"Such a wonderful lady" - Tributes paid following the death of cherished Carlow woman

Tributes are being paid following the sad death of local Carlow woman last week.

From Graiguecullen, Elizabeth (Betty) Mullen passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on March 1st 2024.

Condolences from Rip.ie read: "To Lorraine and all Betty’s family, deepest sympathy. Betty was such a wonderful lady and will be sadly missed x"

One tribute reads: "Deepest sympathy to Caroline and all of Bettys children on the passing of their beloved mother and to Bettys extended family members my deepest condolences to you all. She will be remembered fondly by many. May she rip. Xx"

Another reads: "My deepest sympathy to Caroline, Christopher, Paula, Loraine, and all the extended family Betty always brought a smile to your face ,we have lovely memories of happy times in cheadle may she rest in peace now ."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing at her home, 44 Heatherhill Avenue, Graiguecullen, Carlow (Eircode R93 T1W6) on Tuesday from 3pm, concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.30am to The Holy Family Church, Askea, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Marys Cemetery, Carlow.
