Tributes have been paid following the death of Jonathan James Dickson on May 6th 2024.
Jonathan was a cherished father to Josh, Jessie, and Nancy, and a doting grandfather to Iben and Daisy, a dear brother to Deborah, and a cherished uncle to Barnaby.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section RIP.ie and read as follows:
"Our deepest sympathies to Jess, Emma, Josh & Nancy on Jonathan’s passing. He was truly one of a kind & wont be forgotten. Long may your wonderful memories last xx."
Another reads: "My deepest sympathies to Josh, Jessie, Nancy, sister Deborah extended family and friends on your sad loss. I had the great pleasure of working with Jonathan. His commitment and dedication to helping others was exemplary. Thanks for being you Jonathan I will miss all the laughs and chats we had. Rest in peace."
A third tribute reads: "Sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all the Dickson family on the very sad passing of Jonathan. Such a great neighbour for so many years now, always willing to lend a hand. Jonathan was a fountain of knowledge and wise beyond words, we enjoyed many interesting conversations with him over the years. He had a great love of animals and in particular for his cats and chickens. He will be greatly missed and Seskin won't be the same without him. Rest In Peace Jonathan."
Funeral Arrangements
Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Jonathan’s life at his cremation service, which will be held on Friday, May 10th, at 2:30 pm in The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Cemetery & Crematorium, 158 Harold’s Cross Road, Harold’s Cross, Dublin D6W HY98.
