Tributes have been paid following the death of John Lennon of Ballyroughan, Borris, Carlow/Kilkenny.
Joh passed away at University Hospital Waterford on Thursday 30th May 2024.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, sons, parents, relatives and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of RIP.ie and read as follows: "Our deepest sympathies to Amanda, Eilís, Pádraig, Liam, Patrick & Betty. We adored John as a brother in law & Uncle. He will be so deeply missed. Sending you all so much love & strength. We are here to support you any way we can. "
Another reads: "We offer our very sincere condolences to you Amanda and family and also to you Patsy and Elizabeth on the very untimely death of John. We remember him so well from his time in Borris Vocational School and from meeting him at various underage matches with Mount Leinster Rangers teams. We remember also meeting on trips to Croke Park when Kilkenny would be playing. May you rest in eternal peace John."
A third user writes: "We offer our deepest sympathy to Amanda Eilis padraig and liam on the sad passing of John. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace. We also offer our sympathy to our neighbours Patsy & Betty on John's passing."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Joyce's Funeral Home, Borris from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm on Friday. Funeral to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Borris for Requiem Mass at 11 am on Saturday followed by burial in The Sacred Heart Cemetery, Borris.
