Tributes paid to 'Lovely Gentle Lady' from Carlow following here passing

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Margaret O’Dwyer (née Comerford) of Labanasigh, Bagenalstown, County Carlow and formerly of Old Road, Moneenroe, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, on Thursday June 20th 2024.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the oving care of the nurses and staff of Borris Lodge Nursing Home, Borris, Carlow.

Predeceased by her loving husband Michael, beloved son John and only brother Denis.

She will be deeply regretted by her loving children Maura, Pat, Denis, Michael, and Bernadette, grandchildren Lauren, Ian, Ava, Amy, Sam, Jill, Maria and Joe, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law Mai, extended family, relatives, and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of RIP.ie and read as follows: 

"So sorry Maura , Bernadette and family on the passing of your mam. What a lovely gentle lady and always a pleasure to chat with. RIP Margaret."

Another reads: "Sincere condolences to all of Margaret's family, she was a beautiful lady, May her gentle soul rest in heavenly peace."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 4p.m on Saturday, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Removal on Sunday at 11a.m to St Andrew’s Church, Bagenalstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m. Burial afterwards in The Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.
