Tributes paid to Maganey man who 'always had a good chat and a laugh' following his passing

Gerry Connors - Friday 28th June 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Gerry Connors of Maganey, County Carlow / Kildare.

Gerry passed away suddenly at his residence on Friday 28th June 2024.

Suddenly, at his residence. Sadly missed by his father Gerry, sisters Mary, Bridget, Joan and Anne, brothers Lukey, Johnny, Jimmy, Michael, Andy and Larry, brothers and sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"So very sorry to hear of Gerry’s sudden passing - sincere condolences to all the Connor’s family.
Gerry regularly called down to the yard & we always had a good chat and a laugh - he was a gentleman and will be sadly missed. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace."

Another reads: "Our deepest condolences to all Jerrys family on such a sad loss of a fine young well reared chap may you rest in heavenly peace jerry connors your truely gone straight to heaven to your mammy."

A third user writes: "To Mary and all the family, our thoughts and our prayers are with you all on the loss of your poor brother gerry, may his gentle soul rest in heaven, we will continue to keep you in our prayers."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing in Dunne's Funeral Home, Mill Road, Castledermot, Co.Kildare (Eircode R14X317) on Tuesday from 4pm concluding with Rosary at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at The Church of The Assumption, Castledermot for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Crosstown Cemetery, Co. Wexford. (St. Ibar's Cemetery)
