Betty (Elizabeth) RYAN - Sunday 7th July 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Betty (Elizabeth) Ryan of The Numbers, Graiguecullen, Carlow and formerly Cappalug, Killeshin, Carlow, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin and Clane, Co Kildare.

Betty passed away peacefully following a long and bravely fought illness at her home on June 7th.

Predeceased by her parents Jim and Brigid Ryan, Cappalug, Co Carlow.

Cherished sister of Marie Terese, John, Gina, Johanna, Eamonn, Tom, Jim, Rebecca and Patricia.

She will be sadly missed by her loving sisters and brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:

"Sincere condolences to Tom & family on Betty's passing. She was such a warm, kind person who we know will be greatly missed. May she Rest in Peace."

Another reads: "I met Betty 45 years ago whilst working out in Spain and our
friendship grew from there. She was a true friend kind, thoughtful, generous with a wonderful smile.

Thank you for your love, laughter and unforgettable memories and for being there through the happy and sad times.

My heart is broken I will miss you forever my dear friend.

My deepest sympathies to all her siblings and family."

Funeral Arrangements

May Betty’s Generous Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, (Eircode R93 C863) on Wednesday, July 10th, from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to The Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, (via her residence) arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.45a.m.

Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium, arriving for Cremation Service at 1.30pm.
