Tributes have been paid following the passing of Daniel (Tony) Fenlon of Ballinakill, Garyhill, Bagenalstown, County Carlow.

Daniel passed away following a short illness bravely borne at University Hospital Waterford on Wednesday the 14th of August.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary. Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernie, sons Daniel and Shane, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, daughters- in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Sincere condolences to Bernie, Dan, Shane, Sinead and all the Fenlon family. God grant Tony eternal rest."

Another reads: "Our deepest condolences to the Fenlon family on the sad passing of Tony. May he rest in peace."

A third user writes: 

"Sincere condolences to Bernie, Daniel ,Shane and the Fenlon families on the passing of Tony. May he rest in peace."
