Tributes paid to Carlow man who was 'always up for a chat' following his passing

Michael Ivory - Castlefish, Kilcullen, Kildare / Carlow

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Michael Ivory of Castlefish, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare and formerly of Castle Hill, Carlow

Micheal passed away peacefully at Tallaght Hospital surrounded by his loving family on September 21st 2024.

Predeceased by his loving wife Josie. Sadly missed by his loving son Michael, daughter Deirdre, grandchildren Tadhg, Gavin, Jenna, Eoghan and Hannah, brother John, sisters Marie and Ann, sister-in-law Madeline, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Deepest sympathies to the family of Michael a true gentleman always up for a chat no matter the time of day

Michael you are now at peace and back with Josie Rest in Peace

Another reads: "Dear Marie John and Ann and all the Ivory family l am so sorry to hear Michael has passed away. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Rest in Peace Michael."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Tuesday evening, 24th September, from 5pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral Home private thereafter please.

Funeral arriving to St. Joseph’s Church Gormanstown (Eircode W91 F407) on Wednesday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest with Josie in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Gormanstown, Co. Kildare.
